WorkHub Today exists to help companies meet talent and talent meet companies — on real terms, with mutual interest. These guidelines keep the platform a place where that's possible. Everyone who uses WorkHub Today agrees to them by signing up.

1. What WorkHub Today is for

WorkHub Today is a professional hiring platform. Companies post real roles. Talent shows real profiles with photos and intro videos. Both sides express interest, and when both sides say yes, you connect. Companies pay only on a mutual match.

WorkHub Today is not a dating app, a social network, or a place to advertise unrelated products or services.

2. Be real

Use real photos of yourself

Profile photos must show you. No stock photography, celebrity images, illustrations, or images of other people.

Make intro videos that match your profile

Your intro video should be of you, speaking in a normal voice. No filters that change your appearance significantly, no AI-generated likenesses, no copying someone else's video.

Don't impersonate anyone

Don't claim to work for a company you don't work for. Don't pretend to be a recruiter or hiring manager if you aren't. Don't represent yourself as another real person.

Companies: be the actual employer

Company accounts must represent the actual hiring business. Office and team photos must show your real workspace and people who consent to appear. If you're a recruitment agency, register as an Agency, not as the client company.

3. Be respectful

No harassment, threats, or hate

Don't send threatening, abusive, or harassing messages. Don't use slurs, hate speech, or content that targets people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any protected characteristic.

No inappropriate content

No nudity, sexually explicit content, or imagery of violence. WorkHub Today is a professional hiring context; the bar is the same as any workplace.

No spam, no scams

Don't use WorkHub to push unrelated products, services, MLM schemes, or "investment opportunities." Don't ask people to send money, gift cards, or cryptocurrency. Don't recruit people into anything other than a real job.

No cold or unsolicited outreach off-platform

If you haven't matched, don't try to find the other person on LinkedIn, Instagram, or email to bypass the mutual-interest model. WorkHub works because both sides have to agree first.

4. Protect privacy

Don't share other people's personal info

Don't share someone's full name, contact details, employer, or photos outside the WorkHub conversation without their consent. Talent is identified by first name only until both sides commit — respect that.

Don't post your own contact info before a match

Keep your full name, email, phone, and external profile URLs out of the parts of your profile that anyone can see. The platform exists so you don't have to share that until you've chosen to.

Screenshots and forwarding

Don't screenshot conversations and post them publicly. Don't forward someone's photos or videos outside WorkHub Today. This isn't only about us — it's about the person on the other side.

5. Reporting and blocking

If you see something that breaks these guidelines, you have two tools:

Report

Every profile and conversation has a Report option in the menu. Pick the closest reason, add details if helpful, and submit. We review every report within 24 hours. Your identity stays private — the person you report does not see who reported them.

Block

Blocking is one tap from the same menu. A blocked user disappears from your matches and feeds, and they can't message you. You can unblock anyone from Settings later. Blocking does not notify the other person.

You can do both — block first to stop the contact immediately, then report so the team can act on a pattern. Reports help us protect everyone else, not just you.

6. What happens when guidelines are violated

We tier responses based on what happened. The team reviewing reports decides between:

WARNING For minor or first-time issues. We send the account holder a note explaining what wasn't OK and how to fix it. Profile or message in question may be removed.

SUSPENSION For repeated issues, harassment, or clearly bad-faith use. The account is locked from new matches and messages for a fixed period. Existing conversations are paused.

PERMANENT REMOVAL For the worst categories — threats of violence, child safety violations, fraud, repeated harassment after suspension, or impersonation of a real person without consent. The account is removed and the email is blocked from re-registering.

We retain a record of decisions for our own audit and to recognise repeat behaviour across accounts. If you think a decision was wrong, you can reply to the notification email and the team will take a second look.

7. Companies and agencies — extra rules

Job postings must be real

Post roles you're actually hiring for, at the company you actually run or represent. No fake listings to "test the market" or harvest candidates for unrelated sales lists.

No discrimination in postings or messages

Don't restrict roles based on protected characteristics. Don't ask candidates about race, religion, marital status, pregnancy, or any other category that isn't a real job requirement.

Pay only what we say

€75 per mutual match for companies. Free for Talent. Never pressure a candidate to pay you, send their own money, or sign anything before a real interview happens off-platform.

8. Talent — extra rules

One account per person

Don't create multiple profiles to game discovery or get around a previous ban. If you have a legitimate reason to start over (different career direction, returning after a long break), that's fine — just don't run two profiles in parallel.

If a company breaks these rules, report them

Companies who message inappropriately, ask for money, demand off-platform contact before matching, or discriminate against you — they're the ones who violate this. Report freely.

9. Underage users

You must be at least 18 to register as Talent on WorkHub Today. We ask for your date of birth at sign-up and reject accounts under that age. If we learn an underage user got through the gate, the account is permanently removed and the email is blocked.

10. Changes to these guidelines

We update these guidelines when laws change, when product features change, or when we discover something we hadn't accounted for. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. We don't notify by email for minor edits, but material changes — anything that newly restricts what you can do — will be flagged in the app.
